The Rescue

The nap was good. Sleep Wrinkles on my hand is a proof of that. After a long time i have such a peaceful sleep. I'm so hungry. Sounds are coming out of my tummy. I didn't eat lunch before going to sleep. I should make something. I am in the kitchen with my head in the refrigerator when someone put a hand on my shoulder, i screamed and hit my on the refrigerator door. Alex start laughing loudly. Tears are coming out of his eyes. I completely forgot about him .

"You are still here? Are you planning on moving to my house?"

"Can i ?" He asked seriously.

"Ofcourse not and go to your own house mister "

"How could i when you look so delicious dressed like this"

I am in tank top and shorts. My whole legs and belly are on display. p*****t. I ran to my room to put on trousers. I heard laughing noises behind me.

After changing into a decent attire i come out of the room. He is checking my Telephone.

"You have multiple voicemails from your mom"

"Just delete them"

"Why"

"I don't talk to them anymore"

"I'm proud of you"

"Why"

"It is nice to see you standing up to them. They walked over you your life and you beared it all without even a complain ."

This brought a smile on my face. He is the person who witnessed their treatment towards me . He used to advice me to stand up to them and not let them walk over me.

"Can i get a kiss now? Then i will leave" I giggled and was going to kiss him on the cheek when he turned his head my lips landed on his. Cheater.

"Not fair"

"Want to get rid of me I'm going"

I hear footsteps while i am sleeping. At first i thought it was just a fragment of my imagination, then i hear glass shattering. Someone is definitely here. I don't know what to do. So i called the first person who came in my mind.

"Hello" Thank God he picked it up on the first ring.

"Alex"

"Amara What happened? Are you okay"

"Someone is inside my house"

"Amara where are you"

"I'm in my room"

"Lock your door I'm coming"

"I'm scared Alex"

"Baby i know don't worry I'm coming just stay on the call with me" He whisper soothing words to help me calm down.

I can hear footsteps outside my room. Just as my door handle is turning. I hear a car pulling up. The person outside must have heard it too because he start running.

I hear a knock on my door.

"Baby open up it's me Alex"

I open the door and ran into his arms. I start crying loudly. He rub my back to calm my whimpers. When i calm down, he said.

"Pack your bags you are coming with me" I agree without a fight. I'm too scared to stay here alone.

"Alex who was here"

"It was a burglar don't worry police has caught him and he is taken into custody"

He settle me in his guest room. I have only pack my essentials and some clean clothes. I need to find another place I don't want to stay here another minute.

"Alex can you stay in the bed with me. I'm scared to sleep alone" He said nothing. He lied down beside me and pulled me to his chest.

"Sleep I won't let any harm come to you ever again. You are safe with me"
