The Trip Pt3

He left me alone in the room after dropping a bomb on me. I am now starting to understand why he was asking about my boyfriend again and again. If he thinks i will go running back to his arm after what he did he is wrong. He left without even giving an explanation and now he wants me back. He is in for a ride. I am not a doll which he can play and dump whenever he wants.

I got ready for the conference where Alex is giving a speech. The purpose of my trip is to listen a person talk about things noone gives a f**k about. It's so boring here. Seriously why do people like to see a person talk.

Someone nudged me.

"Hey don't you think guy giving the speech looks like a cartoon" I start laughing.

"He does kinda and you know what the funny thing is?"

"What"

"That cartoon is my boss"

"Whoops my bad. Don't tell him please"

"I'm not going to don't worry"

"I'm Liam"

"Amara and what are you doing here?"

"I am invited here to do the conference but now that I'm here it's even boring than i thought and I haven't gotten anything prepared"

Wait is he Liam styles? Oh my god. He is one of the youngest self made millionaire. He even made it in the Forbes list. The recognition hit. My eyes are about to pop out of my eye socket.

"You recognized me. Don't you" He asked.

"I did"

"Dang it"

"Don't worry I'm not going to ask for a selfie or autograph"

"Why not after all I'm the youngest self made millionaire"

"And i don't give a damn"

I tell Alex I'm going out to explore. I could tell he wanted to come too but i didn't offer him. I came face fo face with Liam in the lobby.

"Here for the autograph?" He cockily said.

"Not in this lifetime."

"A man can dream"

I try to pass by him but he call me back

"What do you want? "

"Can i join you?" He said scratching his head.

"Yeah sure"

"So where are we going"

"I haven't decided yet keep on walking with me"

He kept on asking if i have decided every 10 minutes. I finally had enough.

"If you ask me one more time about our destination i kid you not I am going to dump you in the next dustbin i see"

"Chill lady"

I see ice cream van. I start running towards it. I got my favorite strawberry ice cream.

"You left me and ran away" Liam came after me sulking.

"I left you for ice cream"

"That's understandable"

We spend the whole day together.

"I hate ice cream" Liam Said

"That's blasphemy!"

As a punishment i made him try all the flavors until he gave the verdict "He likes ice cream"

My phone start ringing.

"Sorry Liam work is calling" Alex told me to came back to the hotel.

"It was nice to meet you Liam"

"It was nice to meet you too Amy" He gave me a nickname. Nice. Are we that close now?

Me and Alex are in a party. I was told it's a party but it's more about businessman meeting each other. I got excited for no reason. Alex call me to meet someone.

"You again" Surprise Surprise it's Liam.

"You guys know each other" Alex look at us questionably.

"Yeah she made me try ice cream" Liam replied.

"You tried ice cream!" Why does Alex looks shocked.

They told me they have known each other since college. They are friends and business rivals. That's why Alex knows about Liam's hatred for ice cream.
