"W-we...fin-ally...made...it", I said panting. "You...are...right..", he replied in the same way. We made it here a few minutes ago and just sat down when a familiar horn honked. We looked up to see Raelynn getting out Dakota's car with a giant smirk plastered on her face walking towards us. "Hello, boys"." Who let you drive her", Dakota said angrily."Your mom", she said with cutest smile on her face. I swear my heart skipped a beat looking at her. 'When did she start acting so cute'?" Don't worry the keys are in it"." Thank god", he muttered. Dakota got up and walked to his car when he pulled on the handle it was locked." What the crap, Raley. It's locked"." Oh just let me unlock it. Wait, where are the keys? Oh great, I must of dropped them"." What"?!" I'm sorry, Dakota. What if we got people to help", she said it out loud knowing everyone was listening. Before Dakota could say anything she spoke again," Well, who'd like to help? If a girl finds it, I'm sure they'll get a reward from Dakota and if a boy finds it I'll give them a reward of their choice for helping my dearest cousin out, aka captain of the basketball team". Envy and angry shot through me. 'Why would she say that? They could ask her for anything and she'd agree?! This was unbelievable!' A swarm of students charged out of and from around the building to look for the keys. She laughed at the scene as they swarmed the ground by a angry-filled Dakota. I was about just to go help so I could stop the boys from getting anything from her, when she turned towards me." Come on hurry". I got up from the ground and followed into the building instead. She was still laughing.

I can't believe how Dakota's face looked. He's going to kill me later. I couldn't leave the new kid in all that craziness so I brought him along to get to know him better." So what's you name", I asked as we traveled to my best plan ever's locker." Jacob Turner but just called me Jake". 'Jacob Turner. That sounded familiar'. Then it hits me where I remember it from. I rushed in front of him, stopping him in his tracks, and faced him gleamingly." You're Giant Jake, Autumn's cousin, right?!". He seemed to redder a little when a call his nickname like he was surprised I remembered him. But he smiles even more before answering me." Yeah that's me", As he leaned towards me," Baby Rae". I redden too at that. No one has called me that since eighth grade except for Dakota when he's teasing me badly. Actually, since the day he left. He was my crush, my major crush. I flirted with other guys just to get attention from him but then it got weird with the years to follow. Nobody hardly asked me out in fifth grade and up til eighth. But anyone who did and cheated on me came back to school with a broken bone of some sort. He was always thought to be the one to be thought of doing it but no one knew why. But I never knew who was doing it for sure though. Til the day he left, Tommy Jenkins broke up with me and returned to school unharmed. I guessed its because he has to be the only who can bully me. I mean that can be the only reason. Because he clearly didn't like me then and now I'm guessing we'll remain the same. We're like the old saying says we will probably always be two ships passing in the night.
