Chapter 17Roy On Wednesday, Roy didn’t make it back to Cato’s house until almost nine p.m. Cato was in the living room, voluntarily doing homework, or at least pretending to, and watching Gravity Falls, which he’d told Roy he’d seen lots of times. It had been the same inebriated monologue in which Cato had revealed his crush on Chris Evans. “But when I really need to be cheered up,” Cato had confided, “I watch Gravity Falls.” At the time Roy had wondered, because he had never seen Cato less than perky. He knew better now. “Hi,” Cato said. His eyes flicked to Roy for a second, then back to the screen. “Hi.
