For the upcoming week Alexander and Evelyn didn't see much of each other. The Khinberts were spending as much time with each other as their dad had to go back to work. Who knew how long it would be till they saw him again. Evelyn felt lonely but she understood where they came from. "I miss you." Evelyn said over FaceTime with Alexander. He was laying on his bed waiting for dinner to be ready.
"I miss you too. Dad is leaving in 2 days so we're all going out to dinner tomorrow night, want to join us?"
"I wouldn't want to be imprudent."
"Not at all, baby. You're already part of the family. You'll be my future wife." Evelyn nodded with a huge smile on her face. They heard Alexander's mother calling to them. "I'll talk to you tomorrow. I love you."
"I love you." Evelyn sent him an air kiss
