He could feel shiver run through his spine as he heard her cold voice. Now that he thought of it he seemed to had shone quite a lot of emotions for someone who has lost his her humanity. It was written in legend that once such phenomenon occurred,it will take relatively special occurrences for someone who underwent it to show even a speck of emotion. He was wondering whether the phenomenon had been reversed or something, but he immediately denied it as he couldn't feel any pain or anguish from what transpired between him and his family,so he was wondering what was going on with him. The entire situation was becoming strange and he knew that only one thing could explain what was going on with him,He was slowly falling in love with her. He knew this was bad as for an immortal level powerhouse like her,if she were to find out about it,she might really kill him immediately. He immediately put all the thought behind him and looked at the beauty who was causing him such headache.

At this point,another round of eye stare started as they stared as each other. But soon he immediately moved away his eyes as blood started gushing out of his eyes.

"Good,That will be my first lesson for you,do not stare directly at your someone that could kill you with just a sneeze like that eye with such challenging look,if you still like the position of those eyeballs of yours" She scoffed angrily at him.

He didn't dare to talk back and only kept nodding his head towards her. He didn't really like being slap so he naturally wasn't happy but he knew she did it for his own good as being a brave man is different from being an arrogant one and his actions earlier was a complete definition of unearned pride. who was he to dare to stare at someone at her level like that for no just reason.

That was the complete definition of stupidity and even he had to comment on his level of senselessness. He slowly took note of that action in his mind and took the corrections seriously. She nodded inwardly as she saw his action.

"Yes master" He finally spoke. There was no atom of anger or resent in his eyes as he spoke instead it was filled with the humility and determination someone who was willing to learn should have.

"Not master,Teacher" She corrected angrily. He immediately frowned as he stared as the ground not daring to raise his face up. 'So am still not enough to become her student' He sighed inwardly with a downed expression that looked really funny.

She lightly chuckled when she saw his expression and immediately scoffed at him"snap out of it,me not taken you as my disciple has nothing to do with your talent,don't you have shame,how many years am I older than you by and yet you want to take me as your master,are you trying to call me an old woman or what."

"ohhhh,sor sor sorry" He stammered as he finally understood. Now that he looked at it,he noticed that she didn't look all that old,not that he didn't think of it before but he thought she was probably an old hag who used some sort of pill or cultivation method to retain her youth. At this point he started sighing inwardly 'I thought it was some old an experienced person but it seems it was just someone who had the cultivation but lacked the experience looking at her age". He knew from her her her words when she rebuked him that she wasn't all that older than him and would probably only senior him with a few years.

"YOU,HOW DARE YOU,you dare look down on me" She yelled angrily as an overwhelming aura burst out of her and flowed rapidly at him once she saw his disappointed expression and got a glimpse of what jian ling was thinking. she really felt like slapping him to death this moment

"Please forgive my insolence Mas....,sorry Teacher" Jian ling immediately uttered when he felt that same suppression he felt at the river side. He knew he had successfully made her really furious and at this point his disciple status would probably be on pending. 'I have f****d up' He muttered to him self while waiting for her reply.

"For your insolence, you are to go and hunt for a level one magical Qi condensation magical beast and do not return here without it head. She said with an expressionless face.

" That's not possi...."He was saying lowly before he was interrupted by her harsh tone."It wasn't an option,but an order,remember to not show your face here again if you cannot complete the task. You may use the door". At this point he knew she was damn serious about the punishment. He stopped murmuring and left walking towards the forest. He didn't know how he was going to do it,but he knew that if he didn't do it,he was going to lose once in a life time opportunity that he just got. This was something he was unwilling to accept.

He knew it was either he do it or die trying. He walked out of the hut, stopped for a while when he got a little bit far away from the hut and took a really deep breath before continuing his journey."Was I to harsh on him"She muttered under her breath,She slowly gave a long sigh before muttering again,well what have been done have been done,there is no use deliberating over a spilled milk. At the worst,I will just monitor him as if he gets into a real life threatening situation, I will save him". As she said it,she slowly laid down on her bed and shut closed her eyes. At this point,she resembled a dead person with the way she laid with her face facing the ceiling and her hands on her stomach.

Jian ling roamed the forest without any destination searching for beast to kill but he found non,not even a single beast. It was a really weird situation as he didn't understand why not even a single beast approached him,not even a qi sensing realm beast to talk of a qi condensation realm one. It didn't seem to make sense to him as this was the same thing that happened to him during the period after he ate the fruit. He started wondering whether the fruit had a beast repellent effect or something like that.

After walking for a while,He still found no beast and was already tired,he started wondering whether he should go back and beg his teacher or he should just find a way out of the forest and start a new life.

But he soon shook his head and encourage himself to not give up and continue on the quest. He continued his way forward while using the wooden knife which he made to cut trees and branches in his way. He walked aimlessly for a few hours and soon got tired and was about to give up.

He crouched down and was taking deep breath only to find a little bit of water there. The water was quite muddy and wasn't all that clear. Jian ling was at a lost of whether to laugh or cry,Just when he was in such a predicament he had to find such a dirty water,The temptation was to much and he couldn't stop looking at the water as his thirst refused to let him,yet looking at the disgusting particles floating on the water,He couldn't bring himself to drink it. He was in a stalemate of what to do at this moment.

Suddenly, His expression changed and a frown appeared on his face. He raised his head and looked ahead as if looking for something,but then he looked down at the water again and then raised his head and looked down again,He continued this action for a few times as a look of confusion and little bit of fear and shock appeared on his face,He didn't understand why was going on.

He could make out a figure of a building at his front through the water but he couldn't see any when he looked up,'Was there a hunted house here' He thought inwardly. His first impulse was to turn around and run away but for some reason something within him was telling him otherwise and was even pushing him to go into the building.

The building had a Temple like structure with a two sides door at it centre front,it had a circular handle filled with white crystals. That was the only thing he could clearly make out from the building which seemed really weird as everything looked like they were being prearranged. He didn't understand any of this.

At this point,he started deliberating whether he should take this gamble or not.
