CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE At some point, I must have lost consciousness. The world around me was pitch black, and no, it wasn’t because it was nighttime. It was because I had been knocked unconscious. My body ached pretty much everywhere, though from what I could tell, I was lying down somewhere, though where, I couldn’t tell. All I could tell was that I was lying down on something flat and hard, which didn’t help my body’s aches and pains.
