The federal courthouse steps were crowded with media when the armored transport carrying Ral Anderson pulled up for his arraignment. Louis stood among reporters with her attorney, preparing to surrender herself after Ral's hearing concluded. Neither noticed the three men in maintenance uniforms positioning themselves near the courthouse entrance with equipment bags that contained more than tools.
