THE KISSING BOOTH NEW LOVE OR NOT

A SURPRISE

All of a sudden, we hear, "Hey, guys." We turn, and there is the biggest asshat our school has ever seen. Warren walks up and says "OK I am Warren and I went to school with these guys first off Evans I am so, sorry for how much of an ass I was to you in high school I don't deserve your forgiveness or Flynn's I made your two's life a living hell, but I hope this helps." I look at Warren "No problem Waren I can't speak for Noah but ok." Noah and Lee step forward and say, "We forgive you, dude." "Good, ok First off what Elle said is true it was a big joke at school. We all knew if you wanted to find one just look for the other one. For example, if we wanted to find Lee and it was after school, we knew he was at the soccer field with his girlfriend Rachel so they could watch Elle practice. You all understand."  Everyone around noded.  "OK good, see these four's mothers were best friends up until Mrs. Evans passed away.  As for Lee and Elle, their mothers were pregnant at the same time.  This is where it gets freaky both Lee and Elle were born on the same day at the same time so, they were raised as twins since their mothers were so close, even their fathers became friends.  It is my understanding till this day they have the Evans/Flynn family dinner every Sunday.  Noah here being older was always around these two, keeping an eye on them and protecting them from everyone, including me.  I was a dumb ass and tried to get Elle to go skinny dipping against her will with me. Flynn here tackled me to protect her. Granted Brad wasn't around as much with these three, but he is four years younger than them, but he is still family to them.  To expect any one of these four to ignore each other is pure insanity and Charles Tuppen knows this.  He knew this when he started dating Elle just like everyone at school knew about Lee and Elle, but Tuppen was bound and determined to get Elle since he was dumb enough to stand her up because of Flynn.  He still is after her, but all he wants is to sleep with her, and Elle I am glad you haven't.  You deserve the world and do me a favor open your eyes the guy  you are meant to be with is closer than you realize."

As Warren walked off, I looked at Noah, and he took a deep breath "Look I know you just broke up with Tuppen earlier today but Shelly I still love you, and I miss you.  I know we still hang out and talk, but it is not the same.  Yes, I am willing to wait until you are ready, but today just the four of us together has reminded me of how much I love just being around you."  I look up at him and smile, "Noah, I don't know.  Right now, I am so confused.  Today just being ourselves hanging with Brad, has me thinking about things I thought I had moved past.  I need time to sort out what I want.  All I can promise you is I don't want Charles anymore, and I still want you in my life."  He walked up to me and put his arms around my shoulders "I will take it, Shelly."  I smile and snuggle into his arms.  "You have always been there for Lee and me.  I have a confession to make about something I have been keeping from you since before we even started dating."  He stepped back and lifted my chin so I could look him in the eyes.  "What is is Shelly?"  "I always knew that all the fights you got into in high school were because of me and Lee.  Especially me, like when Tuppen smacked my ass the first day of your Senior Year, which was mine and Lee's Junior year."  He pulled me closer and chuckled, "I should have known.  You were always smarter than any of us ever gave you credit for."

The four of us walked back to the apartment, and Lee and Brad disappeared while Noah and I were trying to figure out what to do next.  They came out of their rooms and without saying anything they left.  We looked at each other and next thing I knew he pulled me into his arms and slowly lowered his head to mine.  I closed my eye's an let him brush his lips against mine.  When he brushed his tongue along my bottom lip, I let my lips part, and as he slipped his tongue into my mouth, I relaxed in his arms, allowing him to pull me closer.  As the kiss deepened, he pulled away, resting his forehead against mine "Damn, Shelly, you still take my breath away."  I smile, "Yeah, I know the feeling.  You are the only one that makes me feel like this."  He pulls away and looks into my eyes, "Really, Shelly."  I wrap my arms around his neck "Yes, Noah Tuppen never left me breathless or trembling."  He pulled me close again and pressed his lips on mine again, deepening the kiss as soon as our lips touched.  He lifted me up so I could wrap my legs around his waist.  As I ran my fingers through his hair, he started to kiss down my neck, causing me to let out a light moan.

I realized what was happening and pulled away, "Noah, please stop."  He looked up at me, "yes, baby."  I smiled, "Not that I don't want to, but I think we need to slow down a little.  See where we want this to go before we jump to this step."  He smiled nuzzled my neck "If that is what you want, I am game.  Just please tell me I have a chance now."  "Yes, you do Noah, you finally won."  "Good, but I am still going to make it up to you for what I did and prove to you how much I love you."
