We all had a blast the remaining days at the beach house. I know Lee was getting on Noah's nerves, not letting him be alone with me. We all had gone to several beach parties, and nothing Noah tried would get Lee away from me. Lee even had Noah thinking he had built up a tolerance for alcohol while he was away because Noah was getting Lee beer after beer, and Lee never once got drunk. What he didn't know was that Lee was slowly pouring out the beer, so Noah didn't know. One night though Noah won. I was having trouble sleeping; it was the second to the last night at the beach house, so I was outside sitting by the pool just enjoying the view.
I heard someone come out to the patio and when I turned there, he was. I guess he didn't see me because he walked up to the railing and looked out to the ocean and I heard him say "Damn it twelve days here, and I haven't had her to myself." I smirked and said, "And who would that be." He spun around and smiled. "What are you doing up and where is your sidekick" "couldn't sleep and snoring away." "good, we need to talk" "What about" "look I know I said I was cool with this whole moving on thing, but I am not." He walked over and sat down next to my lounger and grabbed my hands.
"I really miss you, Shelly. Your all I can think about." I tied to pull my hands out of his he just held them tighter. I looked into his eyes, and I could see the pain there. I whisper, "Noah, please, I can't" "Stop Shelly, you don't think I can't feel it when your eyes are on me. I try to ignore it but I can't or how about the other day when we almost kissed. You don't think I felt your body tremble in my arms." I look away from him, and he grabs my check and turns me back to look at him. "Noah, please right now I am with Charles this isn't right." "Shelly baby I love you. Yes, I messed up. She means and meant nothing to me." "The fact is you did kiss her and then ignored my call what was I to think" "I know, it is just when I saw it was you I felt so guilty. I knew I had f****d up. Then when you sent me that picture, I felt my whole world shatter." "How do you think I felt. I love you, Noah" All of a sudden his head jerks up, and his eyes shine as the smirk I love so much spreads across his face. I cover my mouth as if I could take the words back. He moves my hand from my mouth, "you can't take it back, and I will take it for now. Now I know for sure I still have a chance to get you back. I love you Shelly with everything I have, and I will prove to you your the only one for me." He stood up and walked back into the house. I watched him go, and I couldn't help but smile and then groan to myself. Now, what am I going to do I am with Tuppen. I don't know when it happened, but I woke up with the sun beating down on Lee and me shaking my shoulder.
This was our last day at the beach house first thing tomorrow morning we were all headed home. Lee still needed to pack, and I needed to make sure I had everything when we got back home. It was going to be two days home then off to Boston. After breakfast, Lee said we needed to go for a walk, and I agreed. We were not that far up the beach when he said: "Ok, what happened last night." "What do you mean?" "Please twin; my brother kept looking at you and smiling just like he used to whenever you were around so what happened." "We talked."
"And..." "I might have accidentally said I love you to him" "Damn, it Shelly is this what you want." "I don't know. All he said was he knew how I felt now and that he knows he has a chance to get me back now." "So, you two didn't decide to get together after you and Tuppen break up" "No, as of right now Charles and I are still together, and I have no intention of breaking up with him." "Ok now let's just have some fun." Which we did. We rented jet skies and had raced against each other. By the time we got back to the beach house, we were exhausted. I packed up everything but what I was wearing the next day after getting dressed for dinner. We all went out and had steak for dinner. I actually fell asleep at dinner, and as Noah laid me down in my bed, I heard him whisper, "I will always love you, my sweet Shelly." I snuggled into my bed and said: "hmmm Noah."
After arriving home, I spent the next two days getting everything ready. I didn't go to the Flynn's during this time because I wanted to spend my last few days with my dad and Brad. Unfortunately, my dad had to work, so the Flynn's were taking me to the airport with Brad. As they walked us to the gate, I hugged and kissed both Mathew and June saying I loved them and would miss them. I was just getting ready to follow my Flynn boys to the plane when I heard a strangled "Shellybellie" next to me. I turned to my little brother and hugged him, "I love you, Bradleybear." "I love you too Shellybellie don't forget me." I ruffled his hair, "Never, you are my Lil' bro I love you have fun your freshman year." "I will oh, guess what I decided to follow in your footsteps and I am now in the dance club." "Well don't forget to do the kissing booth for the fundraiser." "I won't maybe you two can come back and be in it." "Nope, I don't think Charles would like that." All he did was frown. "I know Bradleybear, but he is my boyfriend." "For now" he smirked and walked back to June and Mathew. I looked at my little brother one last time and followed my Flynn boys into my future away from home.
