How did I get talked into this? I was sitting in a salon with the other women. Isabelle and her mom had planned a huge party for everyone. The guys were back home getting ready while us girls were forced to go be tortured at the salon. It was torture to me but the others seemed to enjoy it. We had our nails done, even though I vetoed the idea. My nails were now a sparkling red color, my toes matched. The stylist had gotten really excited when she saw my hair. She was in the process of curling all of it in spirals. I tried to tell her curlers would be faster but she wasn’t listening. I was trying to pay attention to everyone talking but I couldn’t seem to focus. My mind was far away. I kept feeling like I needed to be somewhere. I mean I was already where I should be. After about forty-five minutes my hair was all curled. I thought I was done, I was so wrong. I have never had this much products in my hair before. I couldn’t even name everything this crazy woman put in my hair. After another half an hour, my hair was pinned on top of my head. It was really pretty pinned up in messy curls but the process was excruciating. I thought I was a master of torture but I had nothing on these ladies. “We’re not done yet!” Sara sounded so excited. I looked over to her and my breath caught. She was gorgeous. Her nails were a bright violet and her blonde hair was piled on top of her head in intricate braids. The joy she exuded made her skin glow. I couldn’t help the smile forming on my face. “Please tell me we’re almost done.” I couldn’t help myself. I was tired of all the attention. Isabelle and Azalea were laughing. I looked towards them and was shocked. Even though both Isabelle and her mom had the same maroon hair, they were different. Isabelle had her hair down in loose curls with ribbons and flowers placed throughout. Azalea’s hair was straightened. They had taken the top half of her hair and created a ponytail that had ribbons and pearls falling down with her hair. The ribbons were the same color as their nails, gold for Isabelle and pale pink for Azalea. They looked regal standing there even in sweatpants. I suddenly felt out of place. “Just make up time. Then we’ll get dressed and head to the party.” Isabelle exclaimed in her excited tone. I sighed and nodded. I wonder what they were going to do to me now. I watched as Sara, Isabelle, and Azalea went over to another set of chairs. They sat down and allowed the three make up artists to get started. I saw Olesia and L sitting off to the side talking excitedly about the upcoming party. Daisy, Rose, and Luna were just getting finished with their nails, even they seemed happy for the spa day. I was really trying to be a good sport but I had enough already. Instead of complaining, I looked at each one in turn. Olesia was back to her gray hair color. It was piled on top of her head with flowers placed here and there. Her nails and toes were painted the color of jade. She was talking excitedly to L. L looked like a model. They had straightened her hair and styled it to look like it was wavy instead of her normally curly. I preferred her normal curly hair, it was so beautiful. She had chosen silver for her nails. Against her mocha skin it was brighter than it looked in the bottle. I turned my attention to Luna next. Her sandy brown hair was in a French twist on top of her head. She had a decorative comb in her hair that was her grandmothers. It was delicate looking with sapphires and crystals. I had been fascinated with the comb. It was beautiful in her hair. Her nails were a dark blue. She said it was her mom’s favorite color. Daisy was getting finished with her nails. They were painted a baby blue to match her new hair. She had the stylist color her hair a vibrant blue. I guess she had blonde hair but just like her mother, Rose, she liked the colors better. Rose had them change her hair to a bright green color. It was actually very pretty and matched her vivid green eyes. Her nails were done in a french manicure. She said she couldn’t have too much green since her dress was a deep green. Rose had adopted all of us as her daughters. It made her happy to fuss about us, so we let her. I looked toward the make up chairs and groaned. I really didn’t want to do that. I didn’t wear much make up to begin with. My eyes met Sara’s blue ones in the mirror. I could see the concern in them. I gave her a small smile and shrugged. She couldn’t keep staring at me since they were starting on her eyeshadow. “Don’t worry Angel. Sara already told them that you don’t like make up and being girly.” The laughter in L’s voice made me groan again. “I can be girly but I don’t understand why we need all this extra stuff. I just seems extreme. I mean everyone here is already beautiful, why go through all the trouble.” My voice came out like a whine. “Nothing wrong with dressing up a beautiful frame to make it stand out.” One of the stylist answered me while she applied something on Isabelle’s lips. I couldn’t tell what it was. Everyone seemed to agree so I stayed silent. It was just for tonight. I had to keep telling myself that or I would have walked out. Daisy patted my arm and smiled. She didn’t like make up at all. She was still allowing them to paint her up. I was afraid that they would put a mask of make up on my face. I’ve seen those women who cake on their make up. They looked like a clown in my opinion. I understood that some women just liked to wear make up to enhance their beauty. That to me made sense. I just preferred to not deal with it. “Next three.” One of the stylists called out. I sighed and watched L, Olesia, and Luna take their seats. Where did the others go? I scanned the room but didn’t see them. My magic expanded to locate my family. I felt them in another room. I forgot there was a dressing room towards the back. I pulled my magic back in my own body. I stood and walked over to watch what they were doing. I looked at the cart, yes cart. They had so many different products on a three-tiered cart with wheels. I didn’t even know they made this much stuff. So many different colors and brushes and Goddess only knows what. Three separate carts full of products. Goodness. I walked away from the three and back to Daisy and Rose. I had begged Gretchen and her daughters to come with us but she said they had someone coming to help them. I relented but I still wish they would have come with us. Rose and Daisy were talking excitedly about their dresses. It made me smile but then sadness crept in. Modred, the wiccan that hated me, had mentioned my wiccan family. I wonder if my mother was alive and if she missed me. I knew from Mordred that they kept looking for me but the others wouldn’t allow them to find me. My heart broke again thinking of them suffering because of me. Chere? Are you alright? Jeremy’s voice sounded in my head. I could feel Jackson and Jasper there as well. I’m ok wolfie. Just thinking about my family trying to find me. I wish I could get to them. The sadness soaked into my words as I revealed my secret. We will find them my love. The wiccan coming today is supposed to help us do that. Rose and Luke said he has been trying to help find the girl from the prophecy for a while now. Jackson’s voice caressed my mind as I felt the love from all three of my men. I’m sorry Jackson. I know that but I can’t help but feel horrible for putting them in this situation to begin with. I closed my eyes to gather myself together. Mo chroí, this is not your fault. You didn’t choose any of this. We will find them and then you can have your entire family with you. I felt Jasper’s determination in my mind. My heart swelled with love. Thank you Jasper, I love you. Jackson you’re right I shouldn’t worry. I love you Jackson. Wolfie, I’m so glad I found you. I love you. We miss you chere. We will be with you soon. We love you too. I could feel all three of them agree with that. I sent them a wave of love and closed our link. Since my powers had been unleashed, I was able to communicate at longer distances than before. “Next three!” I opened my eyes and followed Daisy and Rose toward the chairs. Daryl came walking in at that moment. I heard him whistle. “I’m so glad I’m not a woman. The guys sent me here to get whoever is ready. They’re all a little antsy. Phillip is coming to get the next ones.” “Sara, Isabelle, and Azalea should be ready soon. They were in these torture seats first.” I couldn’t help the groan that escaped. “Angel. This is pampering not torture.” I heard the disappointment in Sara’s voice. I turned the chair around and stopped. Sara was standing there in a beautiful floor length violet strapless dress. She looked like a model standing there. Isabelle joined her with her violet eyes dancing. Her dress was a gold floor length halter dress. Azalea stepped on the other side of Sara. Her floor length pale pink dress had long sleeves but a big dip in the front. I wondered how she was able to wear that without exposing herself. They looked amazing. “You look so beautiful. All of you.” My awe came out in my voice. Sara smiled and walked over to me. “Please be good while I’m gone. I know this isn’t your thing but please enjoy it. Tonight is special for all of us. We want it to be magnificent.” I took her hands in mine. “Sara. I will behave myself. I just want you to know that tonight will be amazing just because I’ll have all of you with me. That is the best gift I could ever have. I love you little sister.” “I love you too. Don’t make me cry now. I’ll ruin my make up.” Sara smiled and gave me a brief hug before leaving with Daryl, Isabelle, and Azalea. “Alright let’s get you ready.” This lady was too excited for this. “So be it.” I sighed. I closed my eyes so I couldn’t see what she was doing to me. I could feel her spreading something on my skin. Clown make up here we come. I felt Daisy’s laughter in my mind. I shrugged and continue to pray that I would still recognize myself when this was over. I heard the door to the salon open. “Well poppet, don’t you look like you’re having fun.” Phillip sounded amused. I opened my eyes as the stylist turn my chair around to face him. She was being a good sport at least. “Jealous?” Everyone laughed as the other ladies came out of the back. Luna was first in a navy blue knee length dress with short sleeves. L was next in a sparkly silver floor length dress with a slit up the right side. Olesia’s dress looked vibrant. It was a jade color knee length mini dress. They looked amazing too. “Well ladies your car awaits.” Phillip bowed to the three and motioned toward the door. “You look amazing. Go ahead and go. We’ll be along soon, hopefully.” I smiled at the three. They nodded and allowed Phillip to lead them away. I’m sure someone would be along to collect us before too long. I shut my eyes again and allowed the stylist to do her thing. I heard Daisy and Rose get up. They were done. I could feel the brushes on my skin and I tried not to complain. To my surprise, she applied eyeshadow and some mascara but that was all. “You’re all done.” “Seriously?” “You don’t need much. Just enough to accent your eyes honestly. You have a natural beauty like most of us do.” I knew they were Fae because Isabelle told me all of the women in our community came here. They knew how to cater to each race so they were very popular. I didn’t look at myself in the mirror as I made my way into the dressing room. Daisy was already in her baby blue mini dress that flared out at her waist. She was helping her mom with her dress. Rose’s deep green dress was strapless mini dress. Her eyes looked even brighter. I smiled as I reached my dress. “You’re so lucky to be taller Angel. I hate being so short.” Rose was about five foot two, Daisy was shorter than her mom at five even. “It’s not always a good thing but it does come in handy sometimes.” The laughter played in my voice as I pulled off my sweatpants. I watched them both sit on a bench to put their heels on. The shoes matched their dresses perfectly. Sara had told me they custom ordered them when they picked out the dresses. I hadn’t even seen mine yet. I went with them and the girl had taken my measurements. I was pulled away by Jasper before they could show me the dress. He wasn’t willing to wait any longer for me. We went to dinner and had a proper date, that’s what he said. I unzipped the bag and stopped. How was this a dress? Daisy came over and laughed. The sparkly red dress was interesting. I saw it had a slit up both sides to my hips I think. The bodice was cut into a v. Which looked like it would reach my belly button in the front and the dip in my back behind me. This had to be Sara’s doing. “We’ll help you honey. Don’t worry.” Rose was so cheerful as she removed the dress from the hanger. “I’m going to fall out the front. Everyone will see my breasts. There is no way my double d’s will fit.” “We’ve got that covered.” I turned to see the stylist enter the dressing room. I looked at the dress again. I would find out who thought of this and get them back. I couldn’t even fathom how this dress would fit me. I also noticed that there was no way for me to wear a bra or underwear. I groaned out loud. “You can thank Isabelle and Sara for this one my lady.” Daisy giggled as she told me who I needed to get back at. “Fine. I don’t have much of a choice, do I? I just hope I can still breath without flashing people once this is on.” I grumbled as I removed my shirt and bra. The girls held up a roll of tape and came towards me. What was that for? I found out the hard way, it was for my breasts. The tape was two sided so it would hold my dress in place. I guess this was normal in the modeling world. I was really going to get Sara and Isabelle for this.
