Tessa had just taken the last sip of her tea, which was now cold, as the sun disappeared behind a cloud. She got to her feet, her teacup still in her hand and watched a blackish-bluish-green wall of clouds come straight for the island. Nantucket Point sat on the far eastern side of the island, and the beach she’d frequented since moving here had shallow, warm water and easy waves most of the year, due to it being in a little inlet. “My goodness.” She headed for the corner of the house, her goal to get inside as quickly as possible. Thankfully, there weren’t very many people on the beach, and those that were had already started coming in.
