Julia smiled at the two guests coming down the huge staircase that led up to the rooms. No one stayed on the main floor of The Lighthouse Inn; all five guest rooms sat upstairs. She and Maddy lived downstairs, in two separate rooms. They had closets and a tiny room to house supplies, and the laundry facilities took up some space down there too. She didn’t know who was here in the inn and who’d gone out for the day. Everyone was checking out tomorrow, and they only had two rooms booked for Sunday night.
