Lexi P.O.V

"Get up you little b***h!" my mother screamed then slapped me. I shot straight up a said "Yes ma'am." and with that she walked out the room. I got dressed in my old flannels, a shirt I got from Victoria, and a pair of skinny jeans. I looked in the mirror and grabbed my old white converse. I said goodbye to my mom and she replied "Don't come back." those words hit me so hard. All I did was leave and walk to school.

***10 mins later***

I made it to my school, but only to see the two girls I hate the most. Anna and Katie, well here starts my day with hurt. "Hey slut." Anna said. Katie started laughing and said "Yea didn't you knock up some guy last night."

I kept walking and then they finally decided to stop. I went to my locker to see my best friend Victoria. "Hey sunshine how have you been." Victoria said with a smile. "I've been good." I replied with a smile back.

"What about that asshole?" she said with anger and concern in her eyes. "I'm fine I promise." I said with a fake smile. "Stop fake smiling Alexis." she said. "Ok ok let's me open my locker and then we can go to class." I said.

"Ughhh I don't wanna go." she said with a sigh. I opened my locker and found a night and said,

Meet me in the back before class.

"I'll meet you in class I've got to do my lady things, I love you V." I told Victoria. "Oh ok of course I'll see you in class, love you more." she said and then walked away. I checked my phone it's 8:15, class starts at 8:30. I grabbed my things and started my way to the back of the school. Once I got there I saw Evan. I started to get scared but kept walking but kept my head low. I stopped a few feet away from him and he looked at me. "Hi.” he said, I nodded because I was to scared to look at him. "Will you show me your arms?" he asked, I shook my head no. "Look at me Lexi." he demanded me, I looked up. I saw concern, anger, and sadness in his eyes. He reached for me but I flinched. "I won't hurt you but please let me see your arms." he begged, shook my head now. He then grabbed my arms, his eyes we're wide as if he seen a ghost. Then he grabbed me and hugged me, it felt good to be hugged. He let go and said "Meet me after school and bring your friend Victoria. Me, you, Victoria, and Kaden are hanging today. Got it?" I nodded and left. Went to my first period just in time before the bell rang. I told Victoria what happened and she nodded her head. Her first we're balled up and her jaw was clenched.

***School is over***

Once school was over me and Victoria walked up to the front of the school. We saw the boys, we walked to them and got into the black SUV. I was listening to music and watching the road and soon fell asleep.
