Chapter 27Atlanta was going really well. As JuliAnn had said, the Atlanta Shaded Parlor was a replica of the one in Baltimore. Until I got to the second floor, which was slightly different from the big B, I was sometimes confused about where I was. We opened February first, with a special on cherry vanilla martinis. They were a hit right away. It had been entered by Mike, the head bartender in Dallas and sold well at all the Parlors. I think we had a run on cherries. Gwen went out of her way to make sure there was enough in every Parlor. If we kept this up, there would be a shortage of cherries worldwide.
