CHAPTER 2
Zach looked around to where other passengers sat. It wasn’t a full flight by any means. Only about ten people were on it, and three of those were flight attendants. Zach had found it odd that a plane would fly any trip with so few people on it, but what did he know?
The pilots had left the cabin door open, and Zach could see the pilot and copilot talking and at times laughing. Zach wished they would focus on flying the plane, and not on whatever it was they were laughing about.
Suddenly, there was a loud blast. It sounded like someone had taken a bat and hit a metal trash can as hard as they could. The plane lurched to the left, and Zach gripped the arm rests tightly, gasping, “What the f**k is going on?”
