Shane’s POV
Lia had been over the edge ever since she returned. I could sense every emotion that went through her. From worry to happiness, to sadness, and the worst feeling of all, guilt. She was blaming herself for what was about to happen. But truth be told, it would at some point have happened no matter what. She hasn’t told me or talked to me about any of it, but I could sense it. So today I have planned out a normal day away from the training. I turned around to look at my sleeping beauty. I tucked a loose hair strand behind her ear and kissed her on the cheek before getting out of bed. I made my way towards the kitchen to see Mrs. K standing by the stove.
