Chapter 13
Tyler looked up when he heard a sound behind him and saw Marin in the doorway to his studio soon after one Tuesday afternoon. “I didn’t hear the doorbell.”
“I didn’t ring it. Since I knew your mother had a doctor’s appointment, I took the liberty of teleporting in. I only stopped at the door because I didn’t want to startle you, causing you to ruin whatever you’re working on.” He came over to look at the picture. “That’s going to be incredible when it’s finished.”
“Thanks. Are you here early for a reason?”
“Yes. If you can tear yourself away from that, I thought we could go look at some houses the realty company found.”
“Yes!” Tyler pumped a fist then hesitated before adding, “Well, yes, if whatever ones you chose are for us, in which case I want some input, too.”
