I know Alex was getting frustrated and annoyed with the house. She wanted to return to her old habits and forget about everything. She joined me now and again for my morning jogs. We sparred in the gym at home to get her back on her feet. She was slowly regaining her strength but hasn’t got rid of her fear or found her confidence.
I couldn’t hold her back from who she is. I can’t keep her locked up at home and protect her from the world. I kept her bike serviced and cleaned up for the day she decides to get back on the horse and face the world.
This morning she didn’t want to join me for a jog. I had a feeling she was planning on returning to work. I know that this was coming and I had to accept it.
