I was a bit disoriented from the deep sleep I had found myself in, and when I heard someone call out to me, it took me a moment to realize it wasn’t in my dreams that someone was talking to me.
I opened my eyes to see Mefan sitting beside me on the bed. I had to blink a few times to clear my vision, and I noticed Ladon standing in the doorway, smiling a little.
“What?” I asked, puzzled.
That made Mefan smile a little, and he nodded toward the open door.
“We are here,” he said.
I quickly sat up, resting back on my elbows as I looked at him.
“We’re home?” I inquired.
He nodded and stood up, prompting me to throw my legs over the side and get myself ready. We quickly left the room, and Ladon walked beside me as we made our way back up on deck, just in time to see t
