I walked down the long hallways, heading back to the library the king had shown me last night. I had to see it again. I just had to! Though, sadly, I wasn’t alone. Lorsan was right behind me, and every time I looked over my shoulder, I saw him give me a small smile, clearly not getting what I was telling him with my eyes.
I stopped in front of the two doors leading inside the library and pushed them open. Here, with the daylight streaming in, it was once again like stepping into another world. The ceiling was so high, with shelves full of books reaching all the way up there.
