Head pounding. Body shaking. Blood flowing. Leg aching. My eyes fluttered open as I took into account everything I was feeling. Slowly lifting my head, I realized why. I was still laying in Leonardo's bed, my mangled body twisted in the blankets. I brought my hand up to my neck, applying pressure to stop it from bleeding. The wound from his teeth left my skin with two deep, clean holes. Most of the bleeding had stopped already, and it stayed clotted unless I moved my neck. My eyes scanned the bedroom as my dazed brain tried to recover. Leonardo was nowhere to be seen, which was expected. I sighed aloud to myself, a loud and long breath escaping my lips. Once I felt I could stand, I lifted myself off the bed and planted my feet on the ground, finding my crutch to lean on next to the bed
