Chapter - 08

When I saw Kaizo's moppy set of hair, everything turned red suddenly around me, the air, the people and everything. Frantically looking here and there for something to hit him. My eyes fell on an iron chair.

Grabbing the chair from its back rest I walked fast pace towards Kaizo in anger and bashed the iron chair right on his back. When the chair hit his back his torso craned and then he fell on his front. And the chair tumbled down.

Immediately the cheering for the boxer stopped and everyone formed a huge space around me and Kaizo. The gasp and murmuring noise were audible enough to everyone.

Kaizo stretched his back and shrugged his leather jacket before turning around to face me. He wiped the blood trailing down his nose from the back his hand and gave a b****y toothy grin.

"Youh suprised me brother..."

He clapped while speaking those words and later spitted out the blood from his mouth.

"You will be surprised again fucker"

With my last word I threw a heavy punch right on his guts, making him out of breathe. Without wasting time I bashed his head on my knee when he was clutching his stomach.

I saw Sam and Kyle advancing towards other member of Kaizo's g**g. Even they didn't back down from advancing towards Sam and Kyle. Moving my eyes back on Kaizo, I tsked at his f****d up posture and asked.

"What were you saying? You will hurt our women?"

I was pacing around him when he clutched my foot and pulled it to make me fall. But I jumped and rolled in the air then stood on my feets back. Kaizo got on his feets and snorted.

"Yes! If that blondie didn't back down from the event"

Spitting out the saliva and brushing the dust off of his thighs, Kaizo lunged at me and grabbed me by my throat. His knee on my left hand to stop me from loosening his grip.

"f**k yourself! Now wait and watch what you get for the final show down"

I coughed at his death grip on my throat and struggled to get out of it but couldn't. My eyes bulging out in process. To make him loosen his grip, I punched him on his sides with my brass knuckles covered hand.

"That event is mine!!! That final show down is mine. Do you think I will let you ruin it oh so easyily?"

At first it didn't effect him a bit. But I didn't stopped and continued hitting on one spot to make a wound. When pain shoots through his sides, Kaizo's grip loosened a bit that gave me enough time to put my leg between us.

With all my force I pushed him off of me through my lower limb and immediately started gasping out for air. The coughing was already bad that it made me curl on my side. Fucker.

"You did the wrong thing Kaizo... went after my brother??? Do you think I will let it slip oh so easily?"

I mocked. Kaizo was again walking towards me when I tripped him by kicking my foot on his ankle joint and got up from the floor. I saw a bottle of water and went to it. After chucking its the whole liquid down with some of it falling on my leather jacket.

I saw Kaizo's shadow charging towards me and just when he was about to leap at me I step aside and let him slammed on the table where the botte was. I snort when he fall down like a ragdoll on the floor taking the table down with him.

"Jace... You motherfucker"

I gave him time to recover from the fall and wait for him to come again at me. And when he did, when he threw a punch at me, I stopped him mid punch and twisted his fist and headbutt him.

For a minute, a thought ran through my mind. Why Kyle was so worked up about Kaizo, when Kaizo can't threw a single punch. I wasted my time on this piece of s**t. Shaking my head, I saw Kaizo bleeding from the side of his lip.

I saw Sam beating the s**t out of one of the Kaizo's man. Huffing, I walked to Sam and grabbed him from behind but he elbowed me. Once again I grabbed him and pulled him before he could elbow me. If he continued going on like that then I am sure that guy is gonna died and right now that's the last thing anyone wants here.

"We made a point,

Now we done here!"

I said loud enough. Hearing me the rest of my friends backed off and looked at me. But my words didn't registered in Kaizo's ear. He leap at me and took me with him on the floor.

"I am far from done Jace"

I was on the ground with head down and he started throwing punches on me. Sam, Kyle and the other of my friends went again to fight with Kaizo's men. I tried pushing myself up from the ground. But each time Kaizo pushed me back on the floor.

Suddenly Kaizo was no more above me. He was thrown to the corner of the room by Gabe & Riley. Carter came from behind them and stretched out his hand to me. I took it and pushed myself off the ground and stood on my feet.

"Kaizo... Can't keep up with your words? Hahh... Next time think before you open your trash hole"

I said and turned on my heels. Kyle spitted on the sides then glared one last time at Kaizo before following me.

We walked out og the underground boxing club to our motorcycles. We didn't said any words but we all knew this wasn't it. Kaizo ain't going to sit back and let thing slide. Kyle came and sat behind me and let me drive to my place.

When we reach my place, everyone went to the basement. Where we generally crash together. Gabe threw one-one bottle of beer  to each of us. I opened it by my teeth and took a huge swig.

The liquid burned my throat at first but then it got normal. I heard them talking to one other while Kyle was busy on his phone with Kylie may be.

After few gulps, I pour some of the beer on my bloodied knuckles. They were started to turn in nasty blue colour. It stinged like hell but I controlled the urge of screaming.

Pulling the bandana from my neck, I securely wrapped it around my wounded knuckles and slipped a little on the sofa to rest. I felt bone tired and slept right on the sofa. Before going into deep slumber, I felt the beer bottle slipping through my hand then I was blacked out.

I woke up to the noise of  ruffling around me and things getting falling. I looked here and there and saw boys searching for their stuffs.   Yawning deeply, I stood on my feets and stretched my hands up then strolled to my room to take shower.

After shower, I threw on a white tee with a blue bomber jacket and rugged jeans. During wearing the clothes, my eyes fell on the bedside watch. My eyes widened at my tardiness and I hastily put on my shoes and ran to my car.

Mr. Hawkins, the care taker of my house stopped me for breakfast but I refused and started my car and speeded to doll's house. She's going school with me today. And after that Kylie and the other girls going for nigt over.

When I reached at her driveway, I honked my car and she walked out of her house. Mr. Grace right on her tail. Before she could walked further, he stopped her and in a serious face said something. Doll nodded her head and kissed him on the cheek before walking to my car.

As she get in, Mrs Grace came to my side of the door and pecked my temple before giving me a packet. It has sandwich in it. I refused but she didn't take my no. She told me that she knew, I didn't ate breakfast. After kissing her hand, I turned the car towards school.

When we reached the school, doll opened the car door to get out but my words stopped her mid way and she turned to me. I said,

"Hey,,???? Where's my kiss???"

"What kiss???"

"The same kiss you gave to your grandpa!"

I stated. Her mouth formed 'o' but she immediately covered it and narrowed her eyes at me.

"Are you my grandpa?"

I looked at her and shook my head in no.

"Thats what I thought".

She said as a matter of fact and turned around to walk away. Just at the last moment , I pulled her hand and forwarded my cheek to her.

"No kiss, no school?"

I exclaimed, she huffed in annoyance and went to kiss on my cheeks. When her lips was going to touch my cheeks, I turned my face and got the kiss on my lips.

"Thank you doll"

I smirked and got out of the car but not before noticing her flushed out. When she stepped out, she was blushing and not making eye contact with me.

I went to her side and put my hand on her shoulder and together we walked to our locker. After reaching, I leaned on the locker besides doll's and watched her.

"Why did your match cancelled yesterday?"

She asked and looked at my face. She gasped when she saw my knuckles. I was hiding my wound from her but finally she saw it.

"What the heck happened to your hands?"

"The other opponent got into some s**t and this? This is nothing... I was practicing box with the guys"

I lied and kissed between her eyebrows to remove those wrinkles. And it did. Then I pulled her with me to walk her to the class.

"You guys are unbelievable"

She spoke animatedly. I laughed and shake my head at her innocence. I felt her fist tighten on my side. I looked at her and found her staring at the cheerleading girls squad.

"Someone botherin you doll?"

I whispered asked right on her ear. And she nodded but instantly looked in my eyes and smiled.

"Uh-no... What did you say?"

Doll asked. Nice move doll. My mind said. I shook my head in no and slightly pushed towards her class.

"Nothing... Here... Go"

Kissing on her forehead, I saw her leaving for her class. Her ponytail swaying like a pendulum on its own accord.

After that I went to my class and joined the boys. They all looked like a sloth. A smile on there faces but eyes like they are having difficulty to keep it open. I patted on Kyle's shoulder and sat beside him.

And the time flew like a sand slipped through finger and the lunch time arrived. I saw doll coming through the sea of students. I pulled a chair for her beside me. She came a happily took it.

"Hey hey hey.... Bring your own lunch box"

The moment she placed her lunch box on the table I pulled it towards me and opened it. Immediately I took a huge bite from the sandwich and closed my eyes at it taste.

She snatched the lunch box from me and started eating the sandwich. I sneakily pulled her from the another side of her and when she looked, I again took a bite from it. Doll glared at me and put her hand on my mouth.

"You do that trick again and swear to god, you will not like its result"

The way doll scrunched her nose angrily and gritted those words out made me laugh and I licked her hand which was on my mouth.

Her eyes widened and she wipe the hand on my cheek. I pulled her towards me with that same hand and said...

"You know you indirectly kissed me?"

I said and when she looked and asked how. I smiled mischievously and she narrowed her eyes and was about to scold me when I did she was already expecting.
