So, here I am. The same age as when I saw that truck coming toward me, knowing I was going to die. I know by now that the wonderful girl who traded places with me has passed on by now. My hope for her is that she was able to leave the legacy she had wanted to pass on to future generations. There are times, I won’t lie, that I have missed the family that I originally knew, mostly 2 of my big brothers, Bob and Tim. They were there for me through some of my worst days and always had a shoulder just the perfect height for crying on when I needed to. I am sure that all of my nieces and nephews from that dimension had their lives enriched by the selfless nature of my counterpart, more than I could have ever done for them.
