The only time we really saw each other was when we were taking care of the kids and during my PT to help strengthen the muscles I hadn’t used while in the coma. Someone worked on me while I was unconscious daily to keep them from becoming atrophied and stiff, but I needed help with walking a bit still. And I wasn’t going to use a cane or walker to get down the aisle. Allen decided to make Adam sleep in the other wing of the house for 4 days before the ceremony. He had Tamara in his room and I had Amanda in mine so that I wouldn’t be dealing with the 2-month-olds on my own at night.
