Cold hearts, Warm beds

Chapter-20

I wake up to my body aching like it's nobody's business. My throat is parched and thankfully I am not tied to the bed anymore so I can move around. I yawn and stretch like a cat on a holiday. I sit up, cover my naked body with the covers and then go for the glass of water on the bedside table. I am drinking water, like it's the elixir of life and then choke and spit the water when I see 'the help' standing in front of my bed.

"What are you doing here again? I don't need your help." I state, pulling the cover tightly around my naked body.

"Well, you are going to get it regardless..." He says and before I can open my mouth to scream, I am into his arms and his hand is on my mouth effectively muffling my screams.

Where the f**k is my so-called potential mates when I need them?

I cannot believe I am being kidnapped again. Right, this isn't even funny anymore.

"Why are you not thrashing around, trying to get off me. You just look annoyed." He observes. Well, I am f*****g annoyed and I am done being kidnapped. I hope I am giving him a look which conveys my message because it is not possible for me to speak with his huge hand on my mouth.

He lightly shakes his head, looking amused before vanishing off with me to where ever it is that he is taking me.

We apparate in the middle of some forest and I am covered in a f*****g flimsy sheet and his hand is still on my mouth. He is brisk walking. I am looking around and enjoying my ride. Well, it's not every day that you are carried by a creature, almost naked with his hand on your mouth. Plus, I love nature. The trees and the sky looks lovely to me.

"Did you want to be kidnapped?" He asks me, looking at me like I am a piece of the puzzle he is trying to solve. I just roll my eyes. He removes his hand from my mouth and I sigh in relief.

"Can you walk?"

I nod while glaring at him. He gently puts me back on my feet and motions for me to start walking. I do as he says and he follows me.

Either this guy is pretty dumb which I don't think he is, or he is confident of catching me before I can run, which I think is the case. Either way, I am f****d.
