Finding Paris

Guardians

Paris's POV

“What did you say little brat?” she asks the girl from across. 

“How many times do we have to tell you?” Danny asks

She turns around to Danny and is about to scream at him when everyone boo’s at her telling her to sit down and to leave us alone. I look up and see that this is playing on the intercom portable television for the game. Damn! I didn’t want this to happen. She looks up as well and sees what is going on and stomps off and leaves. 

I turn to see where the girl is to thank her and she is gone. I look at where Mars is and I see that he is looking at us too. Little did I know that Jack is staring at me watching Mars as well. 

“Let's go Paris!” Danny says getting up so we can leave since my clothes are soaked.  

I get up and see Mars has left as well and I know Jack is staring again at me watching where Mars is too. We get to the bottom of the stairs and I run into someone. Just my luck! 

“You always do this Paris! You get soda knocked on you and now you knock soda on someone else?” she says back to me 

“Sorry Bethany, I didn’t mean to I just wanted to leave to change my clothes.”I say back to her 

“Well now you messed up everything for me. You take the attention away from the game and put it on you and now you are doing it again. Is it not enough?” she says while everyone starts laughing at me  

“You must have got something wrong since if you look where you are at, you are in the down stairs aisle and you were going upstairs. So if you were on the correct side you never would have ran into someone coming down the downstairs aisle.” Danny says to Bethany and smirks

“Well regardless, why does she always take the attention from everything.” Bethany screams out 

“It’s more like why does she attract so much attention from negative beings.” Mars says 

Damn we were almost home! Why does he need to come now? 

“Here Paris!” Mars says as he gives me his jacket 

The game is already done so I want to leave as soon as possible so that we don’t attract any more attention. 

“Paris!” I hear Jack yell at me and I keep walking 

“Paris!” he says again and I turn back and look at him and then look at the girl from the other night and I see her glaring at Jack. 

They must know each other. She walks next to Jack and pecks his cheek. I look at him shocked and betrayed and he looks back at me sad and moves her away.  

“Let's go home Paris!” Mars says to me and I follow him and Danny. 

I see Danny glance at Mars and we all walk to Danny’s car to go home. 

“Paris wait!” I hear Jack say and I stop and then start walking again. 

Now I know! 

“Thanks guys. You are like my guardian angels. You both have saved me plenty of times.” I say back to Mars and Danny as we drive home

Jack’s POV

“Who is she? I demand to know!” Jenna asks

“If you really want to know she is my girlfriend.” I say back to her annoyingly 

“Your what?” she asks again

“I said my girlfriend.” I yelled back at her 

She looks at me shocked and worried and then says, “So then what am I?”

“You are the future Luna.” I say back to her

“But what does that mean for us? Are you going to end things with her?” she asks

“I don’t know. I love her.” I say back to her 

“How is that possible you are my mate?” she asks   

“And do you even love me back?” I ask her 

“Of course I do!” she says back to me 

“Something doesn’t feel right.'' my wolf says to me. 

“I know that feeling as well. It doesn’t feel right.” I say back to my wolf 

“You don’t act like you do since you treat my pack like shit.” I say back to her. 

“I don’t mean to. It's just they don’t treat me like a future Luna. It’s like they prefer someone else. How do you think I feel coming into this?” she asks me 

“In order to get respect you need to earn it.” I say to her leaving my office and going straight to my room. 

I’ve been calling and texting Paris ever since the game. She has not answered me since and I don’t know what to do. I love her and my wolf does too, but Jenna is right. We are mates so why is the mate bond not working like how it should be? Is it because I truly love her and that I see myself with her for the rest of my life? It is true I do love her and I expected more and more time with her forever. Now what am I going to do about Jenna? 

Unknown POV

“Boss I found her.” she says to the guy 

“Finally. Now things can start.  I guess you win then?” he asks

“Unfortunately no. He found her first.” she says back to him. 

“Interesting. Bring her back when she is ready. Also, give back his memories. He will need to know the true reason why he did this in the first place.” he says to her 

“Of course. How do you want me to handle things with her?” she asks 

“Let him do that. Knowing him he found her days before.” he says to her 

“Understood.” she says back to the boss 

“Also, how is she?” he asks 

“Everything you said.” she says back to him 

“Splendid. I’ve been waiting to find her for years. Until we meet again.” he says to her and hangs up

“Yes until we meet again boss.” she says back
