Finding Paris

Territory

Danny’s POV

So that must be Mars. I was wondering who he is. Paris just talked about him, but I never knew he would be that breathtaking. But he is also passing territory lines without permission. Unfortunately I will need to talk to father about this. And that girl, I wonder which clan she is from since she was on the opposing team. 

“Young Master Landon your father is looking for you.” Chief says 

“All right I’m on my way.” I say back to him 

Chief is a butler that has been with us for decades. Mom asked a long time ago if he would like to retire, but he refused again and again and again.  So she just stopped asking. 

“Hello Father.” I say greeting him

“Hello Son. How was the game?” he asks

“Very interesting. I found out a lot of new things as well.” I tell him 

“This must be important since things are not interesting to you besides that girl.” he says back to me  

“She is my best friend of course she is interesting, but I met 2 people today.” I say back to him 

“Do tell.” dad says back to me 

“A child from the opposite’s team and an unknown.” I say back to him 

My dad instantly sits up and waves his hand to a security guard nearby.

“He is staying by my best friend's house. His name is Mars. Do you know of this Mars?” I ask

Dad gets up a bit too fast and I can see him tremble a bit. No one gets my father like that. Who is this guy? 

“There is only one Mars that I know of and if it is him, then we must know why he is here. Don’t go by him and if he does something out of normal report back to me” dad says seriously 

“But dad, he is in our territory without permission. Aren’t you going to kick him out or give him a lesson since he passed our territory and is still in it? I ask

“Do you know how long he has been here for?” dad asks 

“Maybe a few weeks.” I tell dad.

“He’s not here for no reason. Has your friend said anything to you about him?’ dad asks 

“He lost his memory and is trying to get it back, but for some reason he won’t leave her.” I say back to dad 

“Interesting. This will come in our favor then. I will have to call him then. It looks like what he found was found.” I say back to him. 

“What do you mean by that?” I ask dad

“Son let me tell you a story about a boss who was not a boss but more like a lost soul. There once was a man who had a father who was a tyrant. This father had 3 brothers, him being the youngest. His family was very prestigious, pretty much next to the royals, but he fell in love with his older brother's wife. As you know, our lives are eternal till someone really does kill us but, he had a powerful love for his brother's wife.” dad says to me and then continues

“During that decade there were many wars over territory and a corrupt government that we had with our people. Our head boss decided to split his territory between his 3 sons. His eldest held our capital with the military, the second with customs, finance and business and the 3rd son with medical and detail. And that is how our clan of 1 split to 3 but still united.” dad says again

“As we waited, the war finally came to us. With that happening we lost our leader's eldest son. Which left both sons. Since the eldest son had 2 sons the next brother in line took over the family and ended up marrying the first wife since he had no wife. This infuriated the youngest son since he loved her and she denied him. The youngest son went on a rampage and killed many other vampires during the war and was acknowledged as a tyrant but master from there on.” dad still says as he walks back to sit next to the fireplace and I follow. 

“Love can play such a role in your heart when you can’t maintain it.  If you can not control your feelings it will take over your body and make you do stupid things. The youngest son left for about 5 years leaving his head guard to take over while he left. When he came back he brought back a wife and a child. Little did he know, his brothers wife fell in love with him during the time he left.” he says sadly 

“She wanted him back in her life and apologized. Of course he refused and said he made mistakes and it was over lust then love. She said she would make things right so that they could start over again and he didn’t know what that meant. 2 days later a fire broke out in the castle and we had lost both our 2nd son and his 2 sons.” Dad says and he looks like he is about to cry but why?

“When we went to clean the castle and find their bodies, what we found will scar all of us for the rest of our lives. There we saw our 2nd son burnt on the ground next to 2 chairs above him. In those chairs were both the eldest born sons. “ dad says teary eyed 

“She took them down and killed the eldest borns line and second son as well. We looked for her for days, then weeks, then years and still we have not found her. Then one day on our 3rd son's birthday, he walks into his room with the first wife drinking his wife’s body dry. From then he fights her and tries to kill her but she was already prepared. She had poisoned her nails.” dad says back to me 

“She has scratched his neck and his chest above his heart. The poison slowly killed him as she sat there and held him, saying that if she can’t have him then no one can and that their love was forever. She fled again never to be seen. Some of us think she died and others believe she is hiding to finish off the family. But that was centuries ago.” dad says to me.
