King Dimitrie watched on as his sister was granted her other half. “You knew this would happen?” He glanced over at me. I smiled up at him and shrugged. “I knew it was a possibility. One of many futures that could have come to pass.” The whole clearing burst into cheers reminding the two they were not alone. Both of them turned to face the crowd. Asher moved up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. Turning my head, I looked up at him. “They make an adorable couple.” I smiled up at him. “Their babies will be even cuter.” He shook his head as he smiled down at me. “Goddess save us all, more little Matty’s running around here.” I laughed and turned back to the two. I was most definitely right about bringing the vampires back into the fold. I just hoped that peace would continue.
