Chapter Sixteen
Six months later
JT frowned in concentration, making notes of the tiny planet he investigated. On the screen before him he took in every magnified detail that the highly sensitive viewing equipment picked up and relayed back to him in the form of images not unlike the television he had viewed while on Earth.
The sky was a pale lilac, and the small world teemed with what would one day, in a million years or so, be a more intelligent life form. Right now, all that inhabited the mountainous globe were creeping, crawling creatures that resembled the small mammals of Earth.
Absently, he punched a few buttons on the control panel, sending out the robot that would collect soil and plant life samples. It would also take photographs from a different viewpoint.
