The soft knocking to wake me came as a happy welcome this morning. I know that it means Hades is already up and about, and even though it is earlier than normal, we can use this time to plot against him.
I quickly jump out of the bed, not even caring that I am only half dressed. I am wearing only a long t-shirt, my panties and, I'm sure, a very happy look upon my face. I rush to the door and open it.
My heart sinks. It's not Vance. Instead, I'm greeted by the one person who should never see me in this state. It's Hades. I look around him and down the hallway.
