I stand in the middle of the water stream, letting it wash around my legs as I patiently wait for my intended target.
This is one of the tests I must endure to become the alpha.
There is a rare fish that sometimes comes by this stream and in order to be considered worthy by my pack, I have to catch it and present it to them.
I have been waiting for this fish to show up for three days, never leaving the stream in fear that I might lose my opportunity.
I am hungry, tired and cold. Honestly, I just wish the damn fish would show up already so I can be done with this.
But this is a test of perseverance.
I have to show the pack that I can have the qualities necessary to become their alpha. Unfortunately, perseverance is one of them.
