Everyone is still very much in shock as the busses finally stop a few hours after we managed to escape New York.
Wherever we passed, it seems the destruction is the same. The massive earthquake washed over the entire country by what we managed to hear from the radio. I suspect it washed over the whole world.
Makes us wonder where we can go next. There is no place to hide anymore. Nowhere we will be safe. What are we going to do now?
The busses stop on a seemingly clear road next to an open field. It is open enough that we can see if anyone approaches us. Of course, it is dark and it is hard to see into the distance, but the vampires are the ones on watch duty, so I think that is not going to be a problem.
