I barely notice time passing by while the aircraft flies us to the Himalayans. I’m too busy trying to maintain calm around the pack. Somehow, they seem to have put their trust on me as their Luna, completely ignoring the fact that I am a vampire.
I am still a little uncomfortable with that, but Soren’s Beta, whose name I relearn to be Ivan, seems to be pleased with this. I guess he does want Soren to be successful as an Alpha and I suppose that includes having a proper mate to act as a Luna.
I am not sure what to think about this. Soren and I aren’t a couple, and we will never be one. It doesn’t matter if I am now confused over my feelings for him. Even if I loved him and declared that to the world, we still wouldn’t be able to be together.
It’s just not happening.
