We should have kicked Nolan to the curb when we had the chance.
I really don’t like what he said yesterday to Quinn about guardians being “capable of more than protecting.” I mean, obviously it’s true, but it’s not their purpose. And I don’t say that as some power-hungry Alpha who just wants to keep his guardian to himself so he can remain in charge. There’s a reason the guardian has to willingly comply with the arrangement—a reason that the Moon and Shadow Gods get involved—a reason that the Moon Gods let her mother to the Moon’s Heaven in spite of the fact that she had selected a vamp partner.
It's not that they’re supporters, either. It’s that they’re equal partners.
