Quinn’s POV
There’s something fishy going on, and I don’t like it.
For starters, Marie and Cooper are both missing. That in and of itself isn’t all that suspicious, since more than likely they’re just off celebrating the fact that they finally accepted their feelings by having tons of s*x, but it isn’t just that; Dean’s acting weird, too.
“I’m just not feeling well,” he assures me when I question him about it. “I think I’ll stay at the house with Julia today while you go train. You’ll be alright with Nolan, won’t you?”
Of course, I’ll be alright; I’m just surprised he isn’t more concerned about leaving me alone with the guy he clearly can’t stand.
Then again, we won’t really be alone; most of the pack participates in training.
