I know we have a lot to talk about. I know that as soon as we give our answer to Nolan, things are going to change. I know that things have already changed thanks to the return of the vamp and shifter who both once were—and probably still are, at least on some level—in love with my wife.
But those things can wait. For now, I’m finally exactly where I need to be.
So many things in life make so little sense to me. Leading a pack, for example.
