“That was so much fun. I loved the costumes,” Alan said as soon as Jim came into the lobby, well after the show had ended. “Are you free to leave, now?”
“Yeah. Sorry it took so long, but we had to make certain everyone hung their costumes instead of tossing them on chairs in the dressing rooms. They get so excited about partying…” Jim rolled his eyes. “Do you want to leave your car in the lot and ride to Sullivan’s with me?”
“That’s where the party is?”
“No. It’s my secret hideaway. I’m kidnapping you.” Jim twirled an imaginary mustache.
“Nut.” Alan hugged him. “Sure, let’s do that.”
“Play kidnapper and victim?” Jim asked, straight-faced.
Alan arched an eyebrow. “What are you on?”
“Nothing. I’m just glad you’re here.” Jim kissed him quickly then took his hand. “We’re outta here.”
