Damian's P.O.V.
"Can I ask you a question, Tanner?"
"Sure, what's up?"
He asks me and I was silent for about a minute before I asked him my question.
"What made you wanna take on Max and Ryan when they're not your biological kids?"
"What kind of question is that, Damian?"
Tanner asked with annoyance in his tone which I fully understand because he's been a great dad to my nephews and he loves them wholeheartedly like they're biologically his, so I don't blame him for feeling offended and or angry and annoyed with my question.
"Why are you asking me about my kids, Dame?"
"Don't get me wrong, Tanner, I didn't ask you this to offend you, it's just...I don't know...I guess I wanna know..."
"If it's worth it?"
Tanner cuts me off and I nod my head.
"Yeah"
I say and he lets out a sigh
