I tossed and turned the whole night, I was wondering how much of our plan Denise had told Philip. The entire plan had been her idea and now I knew we were all probably going to get killed when we went there. I looked at Scarlet sleeping peacefully, how could she be at peace when all our lives were in danger we had to finish this once and for all. I was relieved that the mating process wasn’t done yet, we still had to do the challenge which ideally was supposed to be done right after I marked her. My biggest fear was that because our union wasn’t sealed yet, my mark on her body could still be replaced.
