"Are you ready for this?" Doc asks me and I look over at Craig. He smiles at me, giving me an encouraging smile, though I think his hand might just be crushed in mine, leaving him in quite a bit of pain, but he doesn't show it and I also know that he is trying to take away some of my pain. "Just breathe in and out. Try to count to four while breathing in and then again while breathing out." He says and I try not to focus on the overwhelming need I have to push or the fact that my body feels like it is being split in two. "You are doing so good, Caylee. Just a few more minutes of this and then we can start pushing." He keeps talking, trying to keep me calm when all I want to do is scream, or cry, or kill Craig for putting me through this.
