I don’t know if I should count myself lucky or count myself as an outsider for being the only son out of five children. While my sisters have been groomed for the day they meet their mates and finally have access to their witch powers, I have been groomed to protect my sisters. I don’t really hate it, but sometimes, I wish I was a part of that bond my mother has with my sisters. I know she doesn’t do it on purpose, but they have something that I don’t. Even my father is able to use my mother’s power, not that he ever does, seeing as she can see the past, present and future and that is not something he is really interested in unless it is in a case of emergency, but still, I sometimes feel like I am on the outside looking in.
