I woke up to the sound of my door creaking open. I open one eye to see who it was. Ben woke up Kayla and then started his way to me. I pretended to be asleep when in reality I was wide awake. "Hey Jade wake up we have to go." Ben gently shook me. I rubbed my eyes as I produced a fake yawn.
"Why what happened?'' I looked Ben in the face trying to make out his expression in the darkroom. "Y-your brother had a car crash.'' Ben stuttered as he made his way out the door. A car crash? Not leaving any more time for my brain to wonder on the subject I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs grabbing the closet pair of shoes toward me.
Ben and Kayla were already downstairs waiting for me. Without an exchange of words, we all left for the car not knowing what lies
