"Why are you here and not at the hospital?" I say as I glare at him while holding Kayla steady in my arms.
"I think you should put them to bed, and then we will discuss the matter at hand." He stated as he warmly looked at Joshua as the two of them put their lovers to bed.
As soon as they were done they came back downstairs to handle their unwanted guests.
"Why are you here?" Joshua asked coldly.
"They finished with her surgery''
"What did they say about her condition?" Joshua looked in his eyes hopeful as he asked emotionless.
"She's dead son-"
"Vince, I will never be your son, so don't act like I am. We all know I never have been." Joshua viscously responded back.
