Eden's POV
The rest of the morning flies by, and I keep myself busy washing some sheets from the men’s bedrooms per Zeke’s request. Most of them seem like they haven’t been washed this side of the decade.
Gross.
After soaking them thoroughly, Mateo and a few others take them outside to dry in the warm spring sun, which shines brightly in the clear sky. I can’t help but stare out the window at them in sheer jealousy. I’d do almost anything right now to feel the breeze catch my hair or the sun’s rays touch my skin. The thought alone is enough to change my mood entirely.
“You miss the outdoors?”
