Chapter Four
When the mist cleared, Valtina was certain she’d been delivered to the wrong place. A thick layer of grey fog filled the air, making it impossible for Valtina to see anything in front of her. She heard a slight pop, and turned to find Demetri standing only inches behind her.
“This can’t be good,” he stated grimly, gesturing to the fog. “Didn’t anyone meet you?” he asked with confusion.
“No, but I’ve only just arrived. You must have been right behind me. What do you think could be causing this?” she asked in fear.
“Think about it Valtina... has Ladaya told you about the black fog spreading on Earth?”
