We pulled over on an empty parking lot with the view of the fields ahead as Levi turned the ignition off.
Seeing Sam stirred my world, and not in a good way. Levi turned on his seat to face me, but I couldn't look at him. I felt ashamed.
"Okay, so are you going to tell me what's going on with that guy?" He asked, more than curiosity, concern.
"I don't really want to talk about it, Levi…"
"We are talking about it, Sicily," he replied, calling me by my name and I knew he was serious about this. I sighed, trying to think on how to start.
"Sam and I were kind of dating in our Senior year. He was kind and attentive at first, and I couldn’t help but like him a lot.”
