Chapter 14

Trent POV

" You did what ?" Toby snaps at me. I rolled my eyes and looked down the hall. I hadn't seen her all day, which means she was in full avoidance mode. She didn't show up in the cafeteria at lunch and I hadn't seen her walk this way to her next class, which she usually does. Which means she had gone the other way around.

" I did what I said I was going to do, Toby " I told him.

He steps into my line of sight and drops his voice.

" No, you didn't say you were going to corner her in an alleyway and then follow her to her room, Trent" he hisses through gritted teeth at me.

" I said that I was going to try, that was me trying. You're not shy with the ladies, Toby. You know to get one you want, you have to be, you know, close to them and somewhat open with them. You know, let them know you want them " I say, unaffected by his attitude and more affected by her avoidance.

" What happened in her room ? "He asks. And that catches my attention, I slide my eyes back at him and he looks jealous. Good, maybe me making moves and his jealousy will get him to make moves too. I smirk. " Be in the room with us then, you'll know " I shoot back at him grinning slyly and his eyes harden on me, for a moment at least, before he shakes his head and looks away laughing. " Well played, "he huffs, working out what I was thinking and leading to.

I look away from him, as I hear commotion hoping to see her, but instead I grit my teeth when I see Toby's thing coming towards us with the gaggle of geese behind her.

I snap my eyes back at him. "Toby "I grit out.

" What ? " He asks, as he looked back at me, his eyes had been looking at them approaching too.

" You need to get rid of her " I told him.

He frowns at me and shakes his head. "Trent, I haven't agreed to sh*t yet. I said I'd be nicer. But unlike you, I know this plan of yours will fail. Addie will never look at us that way. Tammy is annoying but she is good at . . ." I glare at him. He rightly shuts up. Just as she descends on him, her hands go to his chest, and she pouts up at him. Her voice comes out in a whinny shriek that makes my ears ring. And my nerves rub raw. This girl, more than any girl I have ever met or had to endure, makes me want to rip my balls off myself rather than her touch them. How Toby puts up with her is beyond me.

" You left so early this morning," she whines to him. I roll my eyes and push away as one of her geese tries to saddle up to me. Don't get me wrong. I had my fair share of women, plenty of annoying gaggling geese to scratch the itch. But I always had her on my mind. Now that I have my eyes set on her for myself and for Toby. I'd rather die of blue balls than touch another one of them.

I go to walk of but Toby calling my name stops me. I look back over my shoulder at him, and he looks at me seriously now. " Don't do anything stupid," he states.

I rolled my eyes. " I am not the one doing something stupid. " I look pointedly at Tammy, and she frowns at that and snaps her head to look up at him.

" Baby what does he mean ? " She asks, and he just glares at me, no doubt hating the fact I now put him in a predicament with his thing.

Stepping away again, I carried on down the hall. I wanted to go find her. I'm at the end of the hall about to go outside, when I stop to roll my eyes and laugh. " I know where you'll be doll," I murmur at my stupidity. She would be going to her next class. One that unfortunately we weren't in. We only had business studies with her. But right now, that class she was about to have was one I could easily sneak into.

I changed direction and headed to the auditorium. The class was a big one and usually the lights were dimmed. She didn't know it, but I had snuck in before. I had just stayed out of sight. I think my obsession with her was different than Toby's. I was unaware if he had ever, let's face it and admit it stalked her from time to time. If he had I was unaware we had stalked her together. But I am not sure what it is he does in order to get his fix of her.

I get to her class and open the doors, sneaking in, the lights are off as the professor shows a video on the large screen. I don't pay it any attention and look around the room. With it being dark I could hardly see her. It took me a while, but eventually I caught a glimpse. I smiled when I saw an empty seat directly behind her and made my way down. I get glared at for getting in front of people and disrupting them, but I couldn't care less.

I finally got into the seat behind her, and she hadn't turned around once to see what was going off. She was too engrossed. I let her watch for a moment or two, and then I lean forward and whisper in her ear.

" You have been avoiding me, doll ? " She yelps at that and turns around to face me. Others by her side glare at her for making a noise. She looked around nervously, I know who she's looking for" She looked for him too, in the alley. Toby. So she should. We are usually always together. And I wasn't jealous. She looked for him too. I was the one that was fully on board. I knew to have her I would have to share her, and I was happy with that. At least I would own half of her heart. I was determined to own it. Her eyes look at me worriedly. " Trent "she gasps, and I grin down at her before biting my lip. That did sound f*cking good.
