Chapter 6It was a little after the sun reached its zenith when the small troupe reached Ravendale. The journey had been long but not too arduous overall. The wind had scoured the road of the worst of the snowdrifts, meaning they weren’t battling knee-deep snow. When the wind was at their back, it actually made walking easier, compensating for the times they were pushing against it. Twice they met other travelers; a peddler in an open, mule-pulled cart, and a man on foot with a heavy knapsack slung over his shoulder and a large dog as his companion. The man told them, when Petyr asked, that he was going to Misthaven to visit his aging parents.
