~Lizzy’s POV~
It was great that we only shared different souls in one body. If any of us could touch each other while being in one body, we would have died multiple times already.
Controlling Ellen has always been a task. She can’t overpower me when I am in charge of this human body but Aliyah, I feel bad for her dealing with Ellen. She has to keep her mind sane while I find the way out of this creepy place.
And what she did today, confirmed once again that we could never trust her.
She enjoys seeing us suffer. Even if it means we lose every inch of ourselves in the process. Even if it means her dying along with Aliyah.
I know it will be hard. So hard that it will break my soul but the one who was meant to protect us, was the one who swore to destroy us.
We can't be with him. Even if we were meant to be.
I was on alert; everything around me was dark and dead silent. It felt like no one lived here but that wasn’t the truth. I could smell a lot of different foul smells of vampires.
No voice was coming from any hallway. It was becoming a little challenging to find a way out because every hallway seemed similar. Only the portraits on the walls had different men and victims in their clutches.
The whole place was painted black. Even the floor tiles were black. The only colors this place had were red and a bit of yellow in the lights. I don’t get how people live here. This place was horrible.
I was tiptoeing to the other hallway. I didn’t want to catch unnecessary attention. A fight will be useless against a ton of vampires.
Especially when we were already battling our inner vampire.
Finally, after walking in the different hallways for about two minutes, I found a door. But I didn’t know if I should open it or not. I didn’t know if it was the way out or the way into the hands of vampires.
I held my breath, controlled my heartbeats, and cautiously moved towards the door. The sound behind the door will tell me if I should open it or run in a different direction.
Suddenly, I heard a loud yell of a woman from the inside and I froze. What the heck was happening inside?
“That wasn’t a yell… That was a moan…” Aliyah said.
A moan?
“f**k, that’s so nice. Take me deep.”
Damn, I don’t want to get involved in anyone’s business. I just want to find the exit and leave this place for good!
“You need to leave now, Lizzy!” Aliyah yelled in my head.
“Yes, so stop yelling. Don’t give me a headache,” I complained.
“How dare he?” Ellen said.
Who?
“I don’t care how dare he; I just want to get out of this place. He is sick!” Aliyah cried.
Who was sick? Who were they mentioning?
Wait… Was that…
“Yes, our vampire mate. Lizzy, find the exit, now!” Aliyah yelled.
What the f**k! How could he? Didn't he know Aliyah is his mate? How could he be so heartless?
Yeah... Because that monster doesn't have a heart!
No…
I don’t have time to think about this. I don’t want a leech as my mate. I will find the exit and then I will find someone else who will be worthy for Aliyah and me.
The current one is an ass. And will always be.
I moved away from the door without making any sound and quickly looked for another door. Finding another two doors, I listened to the sound behind both of them and opened the one that felt safe.
Passing another two hallways, I opened another door that gave me fresh air instead of darkness.
I quickly jogged out of this horrible place and started running back to my family.
Vampires freaking had a treaty with werewolves; they were supposed to keep their hands off our people but still, they attacked me, twice. They are freaking going to pay for their sins.
My legs halted in my tracks and my eyes widened. What the f**k is that!
“No, no, no, no, this can’t be true!” Aliyah yelled.
“He got you!” Ellen laughed.
My legs froze while my eyes were glued to the scene in front of me. There was a freaking huge lake in front of me! There was no way I could cross it by swimming!
I looked for some kind of thing that could help me cross the lake but there was nothing. Just a big lake that seemed like mocking me with its big waves splashing on the ground.
“Did you think you could escape us that easily?” I heard a voice from my left.
“Give me control, Lizzy,” Aliyah said.
“No.”
“Lizzy, now.”
~Aliyah’s POV~
I turned around to find the same vampire who was with my worthless mate. He was smirking at me while the others with him circled me.
I had enough of his s**t. That wasn’t my fault. I won’t let him treat me like I was the one turning their life upside down when they freaking played with me like a toy.
“His death wasn’t my fault. He came to me and touched me inappropriately. My brother did whatever any sane brother would do to protect his sister. And I am not sorry that your people died. THEY DESERVED IT,” I glared at him, a growl leaving my mouth.
His brown eyes turned blood red. Others hissed at me while showing their fangs to but that doesn’t scare me. In fact, now they will be scared of me.
He swiftly came in front of me, but I growled at him as loud as I could, and the weather around us started to change.
The sky which was calm earlier had dark clouds and soon the clouds started to thunder.
The shock on their faces confirmed that they hadn’t done their research before abducting me and now this was going to be their biggest mistake.
“What's happening?”
“This is not normal.”
“Oh, it isn’t,” I smirked at them.
“What do you mean?” The vampire in front of me asked.
“Just wait and watch,” I smirked.
The clouds thundered again and a bolt of lightning from above hit his hands, making him fall to the ground and yell at the top of his lungs.
Others cowered back in fear but it was too late for them to head inside. I had enough of them.
Soon, each one of them was struck by thunder and lightning on their heads. They all fell to the ground, yelling and groaning in pain.
Clutching their heads and chest as if they had brains or hearts.
That’s what they get for messing with the elemental wolf.
“Stop right there.”
His voice reached my ears. My heart was still aching... That moan was still ringing... And... I wanted to do nothing less with him than what I did with others.
“You… You are an elemental wolf…” My pathetic mate said.
I smirked at him, “I might be your prisoner, but right now, you are under my sky. So... YOU are my prisoner.”
